Meetings. Three of them, straight in a row.

What makes meetings bearable to members of the council? One is a relaxed atmosphere enjoyed by every member. Though the items being talked over are of significance, remember that a conducive environment is needed for a productive conversation.

ps: but not one too relaxed. things are serious.

A Storm is Coming

Like the juniors in college, we here face our brief moments of stillness before the great storm of exams.

I remember the days such as these back home when doing A-levels. I would wake up. Have my morning prayers done. Go back to wake up the chalet-mates sleeping. Then, waiting for the time for breakfast, iron the clothes needed for the day. Walk with fellow friends to the dining hall. Eat and be merry. Go back and prepare for studies. Then, to the library(!), for during these times, classes would have ended. The time for self-studying is important, or for some, group discussions.

I wonder how my life would be from now on, knowing at last the timetable of the final exams. May the 29th, 2009.

I bet this time it would be different. Yea, for now different is the surrounding i am in. Now, different is what dwells in the mind. Now, different is the set of responsibilities held.
